Recently the Marine Corps changed the name of the major supporting element. The Fleet/Force Service Support Group is now known as the "Marine Logistics Group" with the subordinate commands being the "Combat Logistics Regiments" and its subordinate commands being the "Combat Logistics Battalions."
In my opinion, this is a good move. The perception of the units are more aligned with the actual missions they're involved in; Combat and Support.
